I would not recommend this book because it is poorly designed. We purchased this mainly because it was expandable. The book comes with 20 pages. We bought an additional 32 pages so we could include more photos. The book is designed such that the plastic sheets are held between the cardboard covers by a screw. My wife and I became incredibly frustrated trying to get the screws through the cardboard and all the sheets because the plastic sheets are slippery and hard to hold together. Furthermore, if you want to add more than the 20 pages it comes with, you need screw extenders, which it does not come with. This allows you to expand the book to 40 pages, though it was not clear to us when we bought it that it could not be expanded beyond this limit. After the frustration of trying to put all the sheets and the album together, even if I was successful, I would hesitate to take it apart to try to add another sheet (which is beside the point since I would have reached the limit of how much it could have been expanded).

This is exactly what I've been looking for in terms of a baby book for my daughter. I love the pre-printed scrapbook pages, each of which allows plenty of room for pictures and embellishments. (I just don't have the time to scrapbook from "scratch" anymore.) The colors and motifs are sweet - not too busy. I also love that additional, coordinating blank pages are available to customize additional content as necessary (for example, I know I'm not the only one who had more than one baby shower). My only wish is that there had been a few more pre-printed pages automatically included, as this is a moderately expensive book and ordering additional page sets definitely adds to the cost. But overall, I'm very happy with my daughter's baby book.
