Many baby's-first-year books are cartoony. This is classic: many beautiful fabrics, ribbons and patterns on the outside, high quality black and white sketches and script on the inside. The best categories you'd want on your baby pages, the milestones of the pregnancy and throughout the first year. Plenty of room for pictures, and a wonderful Family Tree. I've researched baby books widely after we did a handbound scrapbook style baby book for my first child -- too labor intensive once we had several children. This is the one I've used for child 2-5, and the one I gave as gifts for all my nieces and nephews.

It was sold as a baby book for same sex couples. Yet it still has mother and father pages. Not happy about this at all.

BEAUTIFUL baby book! Very well made and the pages are so beautiful. It leaves room to add pictures and write things, but it is still prompted to guide you on what to say. The pages look kind of vintage and are very original in their design. I HIGHLY recommend this book. I am 200% happy with it!
