These books are great, and I love that there are packages of inserts that easily fit into the books to customize based on your family. I was pleasantly surprised to see how sturdy the book is as well as the keepsake box that it came in. The polka dots are gender neutral- we are using the same design for our twins- a son and a daughter.

This is one of the classiest baby books I have found, and it can be adapted to accommodate families with two moms/dads, which is what we needed. I am very pleased with this purchase.

We are pleased with our purchase of this baby book. I am a scrapbooker, so this is like a scrap book and a baby book in one- which I appreciate. However, I ordered insert pages and they did not come with extenders, so I need to call the company to inquire about that. As of now, that is my only complaint.

I bought this because I am a single mother and could not find very many baby books that didn't have Dad on every page. Of course, I bought the Single Mother pages to add, and it is perfect! This is exactly what I was looking for and it is so adorable.

I thought this baby book was great! We don't know the sex of the baby, but this book is perfect because of it's neutral colors and classy cover. The inside pages are soft and sophisticated too.

I loved the baby book I ordered. I had extra sections ordered, and my only complaint is that scrapbook extenders should have been included to allow the extra pages.

This is a classic book that is great for a baby boy or girl. I plan to buy more of the Little Dots books for my future kids so that they all match. The page prompts are gentle and soft but not too cutsie, and I appreciate that there is the option to purchase additional page sets, but that you aren't forced to spend money on pages that you might choose not to use. They are also very thorough, and cover everything you'll want to remember over the first few years. My favorite (and my husband's) is the giraffe grow chart ~ adorable!
The only things that I think could be improved would be if there were more pages with pockets to store little keepsakes that you might not want to glue down (maybe this would make a good insert pack option?) and also I think plastic coverings on each page would be nice. It might look classier without them, but with little fingers flipping through over many years, I can see pages and pictures getting smudged and bent. That might be a nice optional purchase too.
Overall I love this book and plan to buy again!!

I love this book! I just wish I knew about this site and these options for my first child. You can totally personalize this book to any family situation and for just the first year or even beyond for the child. I can't wait to show it off to family and friends - it comes in a great presentation box and just looks special! LOVE IT!

The book was wonderful! It looks very expensive and I love the fact that you can take the book apart and remove pages that you do't want and add in pages. I bought the single mom add-on pack as well. It has everything you can think of for pages, plus blank pages for any memories you want to write down. I would recommend this to anyone, it's well worth the money!

the book is very cute but it's important to know that you must buy the additional pages in order to make it appropriate for single parents. the book itself isn't made for single parents - it's the additional inserts that make it appropriate.[...]

I am a first time mom and this book was exactly what I was looking for. The book has all of the information that I wanted to fill out and even some pages for later birthdays. The pictures are cute and look great. They are not cheesy cartoonish things like I have seen in some books. Great quality and worth the extra $$
