These are really lovely keepsake boxes and each of my children has one. I put special smaller items (hospital bracelet, baby cap, comb, etc) as well as special cards and mementos as well. My only issue is that if the box is too full, the ribbon tie that wrap around a button in the front can rip off as it is only secured with paper backing. So just be careful and don't overstuff. Otherwise, a lovely item and nice that it can be personalized.
