A larger pad surface area would be nice; it's hard to ink the entire hand or foot at one time with this pad.

I was so glad to get this the 2nd time around! With my first daughter my hospital wouldn't do the hand and foot prints for us, so now we have this to make sure we get our 2nd daughter's the day she is born! I consider it a "must have!"

Stamp pad worked great for capturing our son's footprint for our scrapbook. The only thing I would change is make the stamp pad bigger to fit the entire foot, had to stamp his foot with the pad a few times to cover the whole area. Ink washed off quite easy but got stuck in his nails which were harder to clean.

We used this to make little footprints of our babelet -- it made great prints and then wiped right off her feet as desired! We didn't manage the hands yet, as those have so many more moving parts. But that's about the baby, not the ink pad! The ink pad had no moving parts... ;)

i have an angel sweatshirt that i have the footprints of all of my 7 grandchildren on. some were put on in the hospital when they were born and some we did when they got home. i was looking for an ink that would wash off the babies feet easily and this worked out great!

Sounds safe to use for infants!

The ink indeed washes off easy with a little baby soap & a wash cloth, however, the ink pad itself could be a little larger, as the baby's hands don't fit into it & if your baby has large feet like mine do, you have to get them exactly in line or else the toes or heel doesn't get the ink. So I had a bit of a struggle getting the ink on the feet & hands & if there was a bigger stamp pad available I would go for that next time over this one.

I purchased the ink to add a little accents of Amelia in her book. Its great on paper but cannot be used on anything else. Cleans up with soap and water, which is great!

The footprint/handprint kit was a wonder b/c I tried to do it on my own before recieving the kit and it was a mess. The only downside to them were that the directions on the tabs were wrong (they said ink on this side and the ink was on the other side) and I ended up getting a bunch of ink on me instead of my baby's hand. I would also suggest the inclusion of more square papers b/c babies are very figity and he smeared almost all of the papers; front and back. I used a substitute for my book but I like the paper and would have preferred the paper that was sent with the kit!!

This ink pad worked perfect to get my son's newborn prints. He didnt even cry, the prints came out perfect, and it washed off super easy.

I am unable to use it as the pad is too small. My baby is only 6 mos old and I canot fit his hand on the pad. It is not possible to rub the pad on his hand as he moves it and closes it. A much larger pad is needed.
