This is a great memory book for any parent. It has tons of pages to fill out. The only flaw is that it's hard to turn some of the pages and they could tear easily so that's why I only rated 4 stars. Otherwise I love it and cannot wait to fill it up with all of my baby boy's memories!

I got this for my second child. I was worried about the reviews of the pages being thin but I didnt think they were anything unusual or overly thin. Im mostly purprised at how many different and unique pages it has to fill in so many firsts you want to capture. Im feeling a little guilty that my first childs memory book didnt have this many options in it!

5 months into it, Im very happy with the organization. I have a Terra Traditions for my daughter, and while lovely to look at, it didnt have much for really keeping track of those special milestones. While this book has a place to write little tidbits every month, her's is mostly a jumble of growth markers where ever I though they fit.

On the other hand, the Terra Traditions has alot more places to keep memorabilia such as cards, pictures, and the like. With this book I had a hard time finding a place for the baby cards. The sonogram ink also rubbed off on the pages, which did not happen in the other book.

I love this book!!!! I bouht it for my first baby to have as his baby book. It has all the pages you would want from holidays, to famous first, birthdays, and it even as a page for each month (which I love how I can track the new things and happenings every month). Great product for recording memories. Guides you through what to write but leaves room to get creative. Expandable design let's you add pages and keepsakes (eg baby hospital bracelet) without damaging binding. Goes through age 5 or first day of school. First year is by month, then yearly. Some things don't make sense, such as an area to record favorite foods during the first month. Use a nonsmear pen or marker for recording, as pages are slick. Great nontrendy, classic design.

Very pretty pages inside book. Plenty of space to record all the "firsts" and milestones for each month. Some of the spaces to put photos are a bit small (2.5x2.5) but there are several blank pages in the back to add more photos as well as a few clear sheet protector pages to add other photos or scrapbook style pages.

I love the cover and the way the book is designed/formatted---notable events a Mother wants to remember, but not too detailed or time consuming for a busy first Mother to complete and keep up. I have a suggestion to making each of the punched pages more durable, so they won't tear through. I added preglued paper reinforcements to each punched hole on every page of my daughter's book prior to giving it to her. She said it was the nicest baby memory book she's seen!

The album comes in a box for storage. It includes MANY pages of anything or everything you would want to document for your child. However, the pages are flimsy, as I was turning the pages they tore easily. The first thing I noticed about the book was it's soft colors and scrapbook design. The next thing I knew I was looking for was a binder format. I noticed in this design you can opt for the book or the binder. You can stick so much more in a binder than a book. I have a binder baby album for my first child and I have been able to save a lot of keepsakes of hers in it compared to a book style I have for my second child. Anyway the book is beautiful and it has all the pages that you would want to record personal information about your child's early years.

I will defiently purchase this book again for my next child. The Looseleaf version is the best because you can add pages and down the road if my child wants to take a page to school I can take out a single page instead od sending them to school with the entire book. I definetly reccomend this book to all parents-to-be

The pages are slightly thinner than the other books I've purchased, but the ink doesn't leak through. Area for mounting pictures are somewhat small so pictures need to be cropped. The book is beautiful and has everything you need to create the perfect keepsake. I purchased the matching calendar and they work well together to help record all of the memories.

This is a great baby book for the price. They binder format offers great versatility for sure. However, it is also an obstacle for my left-handed husband. He has to take the pages out to offer his share or risk tearing them out with the jerk of a hand. The 3-hole punches could use reinforcements (you can pick them up at the office supply store). Ultimately, we fear our children will one day remove a pertinent page to write an autobiography for school, share a photo and memoire and forget to put the page back (and then the memory could be lost forever). Next time, we'll choose a post bound book or something similar so that the versatility is there but it's not as easy to mistakes like those mentioned above. The C.R. Gibson and Carter's books do a great job of prompting on a variety of subjects but leaving question open-ended for a range of responses. Personally, I would prefer less maternity/baby prep/and newborn/hospital pages and go for milestones/characteristics and additional years. If you are a single parent stay away from these because EVERYTHING is mommy/daddy. The design is lovely, nice pictures that are baby inspired but not overdone. There is a nice understated, refined elegance to this book that makes it seem a step up from others in the same price range. It's simplicity and coloring lend it a less 'cutsey' air that I really appreaciate because you seem to get it EVERYWHERE. I try to keep in mind that my children will be reading it over the years and mostly when they are older and not when they are babies-so why have teddy bears and building blocks all over it?

I am expecting my first baby in May - a sweet little boy - and was really excited about making a memory book for him (and myself). I searched through many, looking for quality at a decent price and decided to go for The "Sweet Pea." It came in the mail as scheduled which was great but either my hopes were a bit high or I just wasn't as impressed as I'd wanted to be. It is cute and has all the pages that were listed, I was just hoping for a bit more... But that's possibly my fault and should have gone with one of the more expensive/thorough memory books. Overall I'm keeping it and it will be sweet, just not as much as I was hoping/expecting...

I purchased this book as a gift for my sister who's expecting her third child. It is perfect for either a boy or a girl. It has more space for photos than most baby books. The three-ring binder style allows ample room for the pocket to hold things such as photos, a hospital bracelet, cards, etc without busting the spine. The only criticism I would mention is that the photo holder on the cover is a bit fragile, but I would still highly recommend the book.

I looked for so long for a book that was neutral in theme that had predesigned pages. I like to scrapbook, but honestly who has the time, expecially with a new baby here. The book was nicer than I thought and it came with a box to store it in which is nice to keep it safe. Being able to add pages to the binder is a great option. I def recommend the 3 ring binder style. It was well worth the money since any others I had seen in the stores were more expensive and not as cute! Now all I have to do is find the time to fill out the pages! Better do it soon she is growing up so fast!

This is a great product. It really has all the moments of your child's life that you would want to document. Plus since it is a loose-leaf album you can rearrange the pages and add in your own if desired. And it's also very gender neutral - we didn't find out what we're having and I had a hard time finding an album that wasn't gender specific.
